I would have to say that at least half of our precious little dachshund puppies now live in Ohio with their new families.  I'm pretty sure that the fine folks in Ohio are more addicted to Dachshunds than anywhere else!  We would like to thank each and every one of them for their continued support of Ponderosa Dachshunds.  Our puppies mean the world to us and having such amazing customers makes our job so much easier!  Thank you again for taking time to send pics and emails.

"Mr. Dexter is QUITE the charmer and I know you'd be proud of him. He is a little gentleman so well behaved and an excellent listener- he is a Doxie though, and he will, occasionally, forget his manners. I can't stress enough how happy we are with him. His disposition is so sweet and very laid back. He is not much for barking- only heard him bark a total of 3 times since we brought him home! We had him neutered about 3 weeks ago and he got along great with the surgery- never missed a beat. Dude loves his little brother and they have been inseparable since day one with never a problem between them. I could not have special ordered a better fit for us! Dexter's nose browned-up a little bit but it's still PINK and cute as can be. His eyes are just about black and with that pink nose we joke that he's half oppossum!!! Currently he's weighing in at 7lbs...but his paws still look huge so who knows. I doubt he'll be more than 12lbs by the time he's a year old. He is of course the most precious little thing and I would take 10 more just like him....but then I'd look like the little old ladies we see on the news and that would be bad lol! I have some current photos and I'll try to send them as soon as I can download them. I can't thank you enough for allowing us the opportunity to include Dexter in our family. He has brought such joy to us. Even complete strangers will stop me to ask about him or to photograph him...."

He is the only black and cream smooth doxie that we have been able to produce, but we have BIG hopes for this coming year.
